Reports suggest that new Miami Hurricanes quarterback Carson Beck and his girlfriend Hanna Cavinder had their cars stolen in South Florida overnight.
Rough Welcome to Miami for Carson Beck and Hanna Cavinder
Andy Slater of Fox Sports 640 reported this morning that Beck had both of his cars stolen last night, along with Cavinder’s SUV. So far, Cavinder’s car has been found, but the police are still looking for Beck’s Mercedes and Lamborghini in Florida.
SLATER SCOOP: Miami Hurricanes QB Carson Beck had both of his cars stolen in South Florida overnight, a senior law-enforcement official tells me.
His girlfriend Hanna Cavinder’s SUV was also stolen but found.
Cops are currently looking for Beck’s Mercedes and Lamborghini.

Beck made the bold move to declare for the NFL Draft on Dec. 23 of last year before entering the transfer portal on Jan. 9 and, a day later, announcing he was taking his talents to Miami. Meanwhile, Cavinder is a senior guard on the Hurricanes women’s basketball team.
The QB spent four years as part of the Georgia Bulldogs football program, two as a starter, and was a member of their 2021 and 2022 championship teams.
Reports suggest he received a little over $3 million to transfer to Miami, and with his girlfriend there, it made sense as he now has another year to show off his skills at the college level.
This news comes after ESPN released a report that seven men had been charged for their alleged roles in the burglaries of high-profile athletes such as Joe Burrow and Patrick Mahomes.
With NIL deals being of such high value now, it puts a lot of college athletes in even more of a spotlight than before. Cavinder has a huge social following with over 990k followers on Instagram, which has been a huge boost for her own profile and that of women’s college hoops with many reaping the rewards of the game’s growth.

It has come at a really bad time for Cavinder, with Miami set to host the No. 1-seeded Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Feb. 20.
Beck is currently treating a lingering injury from his SEC Championship win with Georgia, but he will be available for the beginning of the new football season later this year.
