Miami vs Texas A&M’s Intense First Half Draws 3-Word Message From Texans Star

The Texas A&M Aggies and Miami Hurricanes’ matchup in the first round of the College Football Playoff was intense from kickoff. Both teams played good defense; their offense failed to make an impact, and they missed a few opportunities to take the lead.

At halftime, the game was scoreless. Fans of both teams were feeling the pressure and were venting their frustration on social media. Braxton Berrios, the Texans’ wide receiver who played for the Hurricanes in college, joined the discussion through Instagram.

Berrios was probably glued to his TV screen like the rest of the fans. Seeing how the game was progressing had the NFL pro in stress as well. Berrios posted a picture of himself with his face in his palm on his Instagram story.

“Stressed,” he wrote. “but go Canes.”

In the third quarter, the Hurricanes managed to put points on the board, taking a 3-0 lead. They kept the momentum going into the fourth quarter, but the Aggies came back to level the scoreboard once again. With under two minutes left in the fourth quarter, the Hurricanes made a massive leap forward, taking a 10-3 lead.

While both teams are being heavily criticized by fans for poor performance, execution, and more, the Texas-Miami game turned out to be historic. It was the first time in the history of the College Football Playoff that a game went into halftime without any points on the board.

The Hurricanes are looking in control late in the game, and they have the opportunity to close out with the current scoreline and walk away with a win.

Braxton Berrios Recently Went Through a Breakup

After weeks of speculation, it was recently confirmed that Berrios and Alix Earle have ended their relationship. They were one of the most well-known NFL celebrity couples and had a massive fan following on social media.

Berrios was struggling with injuries while trying to find consistency in his run with the Texans, and Earle was busy making a name for herself on a bigger platform. She was one of the participants on Dancing With the Stars.

Earle finished the season as a runner-up. Berrios wasn’t seen around Earle during her stint on DWTS. That made the speculations go through the roof. Even though Earle tried to shut down rumors of a breakup, stating he was just busy with football, it didn’t stop fans from raising questions.

Following her DWTS run, the rumors were confirmed, and the breakup became official.
