The Hurricanes jumped to 13-0 by halftime as Florida struggled to run the ball and gain yardage through the air. Beck has once again shown his experience to make it easier for Miami to reach the endzone. Meanwhile, Lagway was highly inefficient.

Miami vs Florida Game Summary
The Hurricanes were always supposed to be the team to win, given their roster and the momentum they have under Carson Beck and head coach Mario Cristobal.
The Hurricanes made the first splash on the scorecard when running back CharMar Brown rushed for a 2-yard touchdown, followed by Carter Davis’ kick, giving them an extra point. In the meantime, both quarterbacks struggled to get the ball moving in the remaining first quarter.
In the second quarter, the Hurricanes scored two field goals, a 53-yarder and a 28-yarder to add six more to make the score 13-0 going into halftime.
The Gators finally managed to score a touchdown in the third quarter, when Jaden Baugh rushed for a 7-yard touchdown. In the fourth quarter, Miami responded with two rushing touchdowns to ultimately seal the game 26-7.
