North Texas quarterback Drew Mestemaker is having a wonderful season as the redshirt freshman has been among the key players in helping his team achieve a record of 5-0, its best start through five games since 1959.

Twelve weeks ago, Clark posted a collage that gave fans a deeper look into their relationship. The main picture is an adorable mirror selfie where Mestemaker hugs her from behind. Lillian Becoming Drew’s “Biggest Fan”
Perhaps the ultimate “couple goals” moment came when Clark posted a photo from a game where she is wearing a custom green Mean Green jersey. On the back, it reads “MESTEMAKER” with his number, 17. With a prolific first year leading the offense, redshirt freshman quarterback Mestemaker has put up a remarkable season to date with 1,247 passing yards, 11 touchdowns and zero interceptions. His consistency, confidence and overall play this season has put him on the watch list for the Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year Award.
