The longtime voice of CBS’ March Madness coverage, Jim Nantz is a beloved American broadcaster who is celebrating this year’s Final Four as his alma mater, Houston, makes its second appearance in five years. But how many children does Nantz have?

Detailing Jim Nantz’s Three Children
For more than three decades, Jim Nantz was a fixture of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament. Serving as CBS’ lead broadcaster from 1990 to 2023, his voice was behind many of March Madness’ most iconic moments.
Nantz has also anchored CBS’ coverage of the Masters for more than 35 years and currently teams up with Tony Romo as the lead broadcast crew for the NFL on CBS.
Though he has stepped away from NCAA Tournament duties, Nantz is expected to attend this weekend’s Final Four, with his beloved University of Houston in the national semifinals for the second time in five years and the seventh time overall.
Nantz has been married twice—first to Ann-Lorraine Carlsen Nantz, a 26-year marriage that lasted from 1983 to 2009. He remarried in 2012, tying the knot with Courtney Richards. Nantz has three children: one from his first marriage and two from his second. Here’s a closer look at his family.
