WATCH: 2025 NBA Draft Prospects Reveal Which Skill They’d Steal From a Teammate Including Cooper Flagg

In a recent video, several of the top selections from the 2025 NBA Draft shared which skill they’d steal from a teammate if they could. Players such as Cooper Flagg, Kon Knueppel, Dylan Harper, Ace Bailey were featured and posed with the question in the NBA’s video on X on Friday, July 4.

Flagg went for his 2024-25 backcourt running mate in Knueppel’s sharpshooting, while the latter had an interesting take on what skill he’d take from his teammate.

“Probably like Cooper’s mid-range, or like just the ability to throw it off the glass to myself and dunk on somebody,” Knueppel said about the skill he’d take from Flagg. (0:06)

“From @Kon2Knueppel’s shooting to @derikqueen1’s footwork…We asked the 2025 Draft prospects what skill they’d take from another member of their Draft Class 🔥,” @NBA on X captioned.

Meanwhile, Khaman Maluach named all four of his fellow 2024-25 college basketball Duke Blue Devils.

“I don’t think I have one member. Kon’s IQ, Cooper’s versatility, Tyrese’s (Proctor) toughness and Sion’s (James) strength…Yes, my teammates,” the one-and-done big man shared. (0:50)

Dylan Harper went with his teammate Ace Bailey’s skill when it comes to ability to create shots. When Harper was then asked if he thinks Bailey would answer him, he had a resounding yes to the question.

But, Bailey instead went with Derik Queen’s footwork in the paint, before mentioning Harper’s shot-making skills.

NBA Draft Prospect Derik Queen Went With Players Of Other College Basketball Programs

The No.13 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, Derik Queen chose the skills of players from other programs. Queen, who was a star for the 2024-25 Maryland Terrapins, playfully went with Dylan Harper’s aura and questioned if it can be a skill.

Other responses include VJ Edgecombe going with Walter Clayton Jr.’s shooting. Meanwhile, Clayton Jr. chose Cooper Flagg’s defense, Collin Murray-Boyles picked Edgecombe’s trash talking skills and Carter Bryant mentioned Khaman Maluach’s shot-blocking ability.

Players such as Asa Newell and Thomas Sorber went with skills that were mentioned already, such as Queen’s footwork and Knueppel’s shooting, respectively, to cap off the minute-long video. All of the aforementioned up-and-coming players will all play in the upcoming 2025 NBA Summer League, slated to officially commence on July 10.
