Biggest Transfer Portal Winners From Week 4 of the Spring Window

F Yaxel Lendeborg, UAB > Michigan

Lendeborg is arguably the most complete player in this year’s portal cycle. The 6’9″, 240-pound forward is a versatile force who can dominate as a four or small-ball five.

His jaw-dropping 30-20-8-0-4-5 stat line in the AAC Tournament turned heads nationwide. With elite passing, rebounding, and defensive instincts, he’s a potential first-round NBA Draft pick if he stays healthy and continues developing at Michigan.

G PJ Haggerty, Memphis > UNDECIDED

Haggerty was the AAC Player of the Year and one of the most electric scorers in college basketball last season. At 6’3″, he’s a transition nightmare and gets to the free-throw line at will.

While he’s not a volume three-point shooter or lockdown defender, he could compete for a national scoring title next season. Wherever he lands, defenses better take notice.

PG Bennett Stirtz, Drake > Iowa

Following his head coach Ben McCollum to Iowa, Stirtz brings his elite pick-and-roll game and shot-making skills to the Big Ten.

He shot over 70% at the rim and was a steady force in Drake’s NCAA Tournament run. Expect him to emerge as one of the Big Ten’s best lead guards from day one.

    G/F RJ Luis, St. John’s > UNDECIDED

Luis is a 6’7″ transition powerhouse and slasher with pro-level tools. He’s ready to become a two-way star after winning Big East Player of the Year. If his outside shot and decision-making improve, NBA scouts will be watching closely. He’s a matchup problem waiting to happen.

PG Donovan Dent, New Mexico > UCLA

Dent is an elite paint-touch point guard with advanced pick-and-roll vision and touch. He averaged big numbers for New Mexico and now lands in a perfect situation at UCLA.

With shooters around him and Mick Cronin’s system in place, Dent could thrive as the next great Bruin floor general.

F Darrion Williams, Texas Tech > UNDECIDED

Williams is a Swiss Army knife forward. He can shoot (38% from deep), handle, post up, and defend across positions. He’s consistently contributed consistently on three straight NCAA Tournament teams and brings both toughness and versatility. He’s the kind of plug-and-play forward who boosts a roster instantly.

PG Rob Wright, Baylor > BYU

Wright was a Big 12 All-Freshman Team selection and a former Montverde Academy standout alongside Cooper Flagg. With two years of eligibility, he brings savvy playmaking, court vision, and All-American potential to BYU. The Cougars just added one of the steadiest young guards in the nation.

G Adrian Wooley, Kennesaw State > Louisville

Wooley was a freshman phenom at Kennesaw State, averaging 18.8 points while shooting 41% from deep. He now takes his talents to Louisville, where his rim-and-3 scoring fits perfectly in Pat Kelsey’s system. With three years of eligibility left, he’s a massive building block for the Cardinals’ rebuild.

F Jayden Quaintance, Arizona State > Kentucky

Quaintance might be the best long-term prospect in the portal. The 6’9″ defensive anchor has lottery-pick potential, posting elite block and steal rates before his ACL injury.

While he’s still recovering, he’s one of the most valuable additions. Kentucky could be getting a future star.

G Wesley Yates III, USC > Washington

After missing 2023–24 due to injury, Yates returned to form at USC with 14.1 points per game and elite shooting splits (47.8% FG, 43.9% 3PT). Now back at Washington, the former top-100 recruit could finally live up to his high school hype. He’s a breakout candidate with serious upside.

G Ryan Conwell, Xavier > Louisville

He averaged 16.5 PPG at Xavier and caught fire late in the year, including a 38-point outburst vs. Marquette. The lethal scorer is a massive future asset for the Cardinals.
