Kentucky Wildcats
The Wildcats were one of the first teams to register interests when Eaglestaff initially entered the portal before choosing South Carolina. Mark Pope could still be interested in securing his services.
Pope and his coaching staff are looking for a shooter to play the two, and Eaglestaff could be the answer after losing out on Lamar Wilkerson.
Alabama Crimson Tide
Alabama was also one of the many programs to take an interest in Eaglestaff once he initially entered the portal. This is partly due to the fact that Alabama witnessed firsthand what Eaglestaff is capable of.
He dropped 40 points in the matchup against the Crimson Tides in December, netting eight three-pointers. Now that he’s available again, he could be an option.
Kansas Jayhawks
The Jayhawks failed to win a game in the 2025 NCAA Tournament and tallied 13 losses this season, the most by the program since 1983.
They also lost their top four scorers, and head coach Bill Self needs to find replacements. They are also one of the teams interested in Eaglestaff.
Gonzaga Bulldogs
The Bulldogs were one of many high-profile programs that reached out early to North Dakota transfer Treysen Eaglestaff, but the 6’6″ wing instead committed to the South Carolina Gamecocks.

The Bulldogs are eyeing quite a few players available in the portal, including Izaiah Pasha and Bryce Lindsay. With Eaglestaff now available, he could be an option again.
Villanova Wildcats
Villanova lost at least five players this off-season, and head coach Kevin Willard has made it known he desires to fully utilize the transfer portal to build a new roster. Eaglestaff is one of the best guards available in the portal right now, and his abilities will be an asset to Villanova.
