A possible trade package that lands San Antonio Spurs forward Victor Wembanyama a superstar teammate has gotten onlookers excited on social media. On Thursday, Dec. 4, a post uploaded by @courtsidebuzzig on Instagram shows off a potential trade package for Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo that lands him with Wembanyama in San Antonio.
This comes after reports have been surfacing of Antetokounmpo now actively discussing with his agent the future of his career, whether or not it will be in Milwaukee. This is because ever since winning it all in 2021, being named the Finals MVP in the process, the Bucks have not been able to get out of the first round of the playoffs. Presently in the 2025-26 campaign, they only have a 10-13 record as the No. 10 seed out East.

Basketball fans and spectators then marvel over a Wembanyama and Antetokounmpo duo, one that can even be compared to that of NBA legends Tim Duncan and David Robinson.
“Damn reincarnated David Robinson and Tim Duncan would be crazy af 😂😂😂,” one fan wrote with a trio of laughing emojis.
“Vic and Giannis P&R would be unstoppable,” another fan said.
“I’m a Bucks fan and I want to see this happen tbh,” another user shared.
“Idk if it’s legal to have that much power on one team,” a user pointed out.
Other users all over the comment section are not a huge fan of the proposed deal as they believe it could derail the Spurs’ future.
“Giving up Harper and Castle would be a huge L,” one fan claimed.
“Makes zero sense, the teams chemistry is already on another level, why rock the boat 🤷♂️,” another fan commented with an emoji.
“Why would they give up Harper AND Castle for Giannis. They are in no rush, they have a good 10 years in front of them. No reason to do such a move,” a fan posted.
Even without Wembanyama as of late, coach Mitch Johnson’s Spurs are still able to manage a current overall record of 15-6 and the No. 4 seed in the Western Conference. The team is currently preparing for a showdown against coach Kenny Atkinson’s Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday, Dec. 5, in away territory. Wembanyama has currently nursing a left calf strain since last month, but has progressed well with his recovery.
A Trade Package For Giannis Antetokounmpo May Include One Of The San Antonio Spurs’ Elite Guards
In the report by @courtsidebuzzig on Instagram through the caption of their post, it was confirmed that if the San Antonio Spurs were to truly go for Giannis Antetokounmpo and engage in potential trade talks with the Milwaukee Bucks, the trade package will have to include the likes of standout guards Stephon Castle or Dylan Harper. Castle was the 2024 NBA Rookie of the Year, while Harper is exceeding expectations in his current first year.
