    Bo Mattingly, an Arkansas basketball insider, is under fire for allegedly spreading misinformation regarding Razorbacks PG Boogie Fland’s basketball future.

    The freshman entered the transfer portal just before the window closed but also declared for the 2025 NBA Draft, maintaining options. However, Mattingly reported that if the player returns to college, he could earn up to “$7 million” in NIL funds from teams like Florida.

    Bo Mattingly Slammed by Basketball Fans Over Boogie Fland’s “$7 Million” Valuation

    Fans on the internet refuse to believe this journalist’s $7 million valuation claim for Boogie Fland.

    A post by College Basketball Report has gone viral. It states that Boogie Fland “could command up to $7 million from the reigning national champion Florida Gators” by forgoing the draft and coming back to college.

    One user responded to the post by writing, “Won’t be 7M,” with a laughing emoji.

    Another wrote, “That number is wildly inaccurate lol.”

    Many fans also claimed that is was misinformation or “fake news.”

    Other users stated it was “Fake news” and not accurate

    Boogie recently averaged 13.5 points on 37.9% shooting and 5.1 assists per game for the Arkansas Razorbacks. The 18-year-old is expected to be picked late in the first round and early in the second round in the upcoming NBA Draft, which is scheduled for June. 

    Fland, the 6’2″ ft tall player, attended Archbishop Stepinac High School and was among the 25 finalists for the Kyle Macy Award, the nation’s top freshman honor.

    During his prep days, he was honored with several awards, including McDonald’s All-American, Jordan Brand Classic, USA Basketball Nike Hoop Summit selection, and USA Basketball Men’s Junior National Select Team, all in 2024.

    His name was also listed in the Jersey Mike’s Naismith Trophy High School All-America Honorable Mention that year. The youngster averaged 19.3 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 3.6 assists during his prep days.
