The 2025 NBA Draft is scheduled for June 25 to 26, and it’s considered by many to be a class that’s full of NBA-ready talent. With this, there will be an influx of college basketball programs that are projected to be well-represented in this year’s draft, given that several of their players are expected to be selected amongst the foreign and professional aspirants vying for a roster spot.
From powerhouse programs to up-and-coming ones, let’s take a look at which NCAA men’s basketball teams are projected to dominate this year’s NBA Draft.
Three NCAA Programs Are Expected To Dominate 2025 NBA Draft Night
#3 Florida Gators
The defending national champions, Florida Gators, are bringing on their success from the 2024-25 season to the offseason, as according to Terrance Biggs of Sports Illustrated, coach Todd Golden’s program may see three players from their championship roster to hear their names called during the 2025 NBA Draft.

This is highlighted by their national title MOP in Walter Clayton Jr., who spent his last two years at Florida. He led the team in points per game throughout the 2024-25 campaign as well as their winning March Madness run earlier this year. In his final year of collegiate hoops, Clayton Jr. averaged 18.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.2 steals per contest.
His teammates in Alijah Martin and Will Richard, could also end up getting drafted, given that they were also integral in the program’s third national championship run. With this, the Gators may see three of their players drafted in the same class since 2007, when NBA standouts Al Horford, Joakim Noah and Corey Brewer were selected at the same time.
#2 Rutgers Scarlet Knights
While the Rutgers Scarlet Knights are only expected to have two players drafted on June 25 to 26, they are both projected first-round picks that could both be taken in the top five. Spitfire scorers Dylan Harper and Ace Bailey, who both enjoyed individually successful one-and-done campaigns with coach Steve Pikiell’s squad, have long been widely regarded as top picks in the same 2025 draft class.

Harper, per ESPN’s latest mock draft, is projected to be taken by the San Antonio Spurs with the second pick in the first round. Meanwhile, Bailey is expected to be selected back-to-back with his college running mate with the third overall selection by the Philadelphia 76ers. This rare feat of two players drafted in the top five of the NBA Draft will be the first time it has ever happened to the Rutgers program, should it happen.
#1 Duke Blue Devils

Perhaps the college basketball program that will likely be dominating the 2025 NBA Draft the most is coach Jon Scheyer’s Duke Blue Devils. This is because an astounding five players from the powerhouse team are projected to be selected in the draft, three of whom are expected lottery picks in the top 10.
The highlight of the overall draft this year is Cooper Flagg, who is expected to be selected first by the Dallas Mavericks after leading the Blue Devils in the five major statistical categories. Possibly joining him in the lottery are big man Khaman Maluach and sharpshooter Kon Knueppel, who could go seventh and eighth to the New Orleans Pelicans and Brooklyn Nets, respectively, per ESPN.
Rounding out the Duke representatives in the draft are Tyrese Proctor and Sion James, who may also go back-to-back at No. 52 and 53 to the Phoenix Suns and Utah Jazz, respectively.
