Luka Doncic has been on fire this season. After a heartbreaking exit from the Dallas Mavericks, Doncic has found a new home in LA. The Lakers welcomed him with open arms in February 2025. In 17 games so far this season, Luka is averaging 35 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 9.1 assists. He has led the Lakers even in LeBron James’ absence. Doncic has always been destined for a great NBA career, and he looks fully determined to live up to his hype.
Luka Doncic has climbed up the rankings on a unique list. He now has the second-most 30-point triple-doubles in NBA history. He surpassed Nikola Jokic, who was already leading LeBron James and Russell Westbrook. Luka only trails Hall of Fame Oscar Robertson. The top five on the list are:

This list can change any game again, as Nikola Jokic is also playing his best brand of basketball. He is averaging an astounding 29.2 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 11 assists this season. Due to his great form, the Nuggets are 17-6, the same as the Lakers.
