“He Was So Pissed. I Loved It”: Luka Doncic Mocks Lakers HC JJ Redick After Beating Him

Luka Doncic has been leading the Lakers in the absence of LeBron James during the start of this season. There is a good synergy in the squad right now. Austin Reaves has also shown his mantle in the first 13 games of the season. Lakers head coach JJ Redick has been leading the team well.

Redick seems to have full confidence in the players. Team looks in good spirits as they now also welcome LeBron James back into the squad. The Lakers are 12-4 in the season. Luka is averaging an impressive 34.5 points per game, while Reaves is having his best season in the NBA so far with 27.6 points per game. Redick would be very happy with how things have been going this season. However, Luka Doncic just gave him a reason to be mad with him.

Luka Doncic was asked about his contest with JJ Redick on the court. Although not the basketball court, it’s a pickleball court. The Lakers recently had a pickleball tournament, and apparently, Doncic and Redick played against each other.

“That was easy,” Luka said about winning vs his HC. He continued, “He was so pissed. I loved it. Every second of it. I did lose in the finals. I was pissed off too. It was close but my teammate gotta work on his game. Call him off. He’s all power, no elegance. All power. No touch.”

Doncic recently entered the history books with a record that no one has ever achieved. He is now the only player with more than 400 points and 100 assists in the first 12 games of any season.

With an average of 34.5 points, he has now scored 414 points so far. He also averages 8.9 assists per game and has 107 assists. Luka has overgrown his heartbreak after getting traded from the Dallas Mavericks. He has found his rhythm at the Lakers and is having his best season yet. He can certainly lead JJ Redick’s team to great things this season and in the future.
