Recently, the four-time NBA champion Klay Thompson and Grammy Award-winning rapper Megan Thee Stallion announced that they are in a relationship. The Dallas Mavericks player and the rapper made their debut as a couple on the red carpet in New York City on Wednesday night. They were attending the Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala at Gotham Hall.
The foundation is dedicated to offering support to children, women, senior citizens, and underserved communities in Houston, Texas.

At one point in the night, Klay Thompson bragged about the newest gift he had received from Thee Stallion. Thompson showed the members of the press a luxurious timepiece, and while the specific model of watch hasn’t been confirmed, it’s rumored to be a $300,000 Audemars Piguet Royal Oak.

During the red carpet event, the Grammy Award winner gave “Page Six” an exclusive on his relationship with the NBA champion.
“This is my first relationship where I’ve ever been with somebody who’s genuinely a nice person, and he makes me genuinely happy,” she told Page Six on the red carpet. “I just never dated somebody like him before and I’m just grateful that he’s here by my side and he feels the same way about me.”

The comments confirmed the rumors that arose over the weekend, that Klay Thompson and she were in a relationship. It all started last week, when fans spotted Thompson in the background of some Instagram posts of the rapper. Days later, Thompson posted several pictures with her on his Instagram. In one of them, they can be seen holding hands.
