Kiyan Anthony, the son of NBA legend Carmelo Anthony, has recently announced some brand new additions to his clothing brand. At just 18, he’s already making a name for himself as a young entrepreneur. His streetwear brand, “One Way Clothing,” is dropping a fresh collection called “1617” on March 29, 2025. Here’s what you need to know about this release.

Kiyan Anthony Announces New ‘1617’ Collection for His Clothing Brand
Kiyan recently teamed up with his friend Jadyn to unveil the latest chapter for One Way Clothing. The duo announced the 1617 collection with a social media ad featuring the caption: “MARCH 29 & THE HARDEST SWEATSUITS ARE BACK AND BETTER – PREORDER (3-5 WEEK SHIPPING) – FIRST 5 ORDERS FULLY REFUNDED.”

These sweatsuits come in colors like Violetta, Michigan, Chrome Frost, Steel Cloud, Aqua Blaze, Crimson Kiss, and Coca.
The name “1617” marks the ages Kiyan and Jadyn were when they launched the brand, 16 and 17, respectively. What started as an anti boredom project has grown into a six-figure business. Based in Harlem, One Way focuses on streetwear staples like hoodies, T-shirts, and joggers.
Kiyan’s dad, Carmelo, said, “I’m proud of him that he took it upon himself to set a little business up for himself and not wait for me or his mom to set it up,” the 10-time All-Star said. He sees his son building something real, step by step.
Kiyan shared his own take on the brand’s origin during a September 2024 episode of Overtime’s The Evolution. “We was always into fashion. So we was like, ‘Why don’t we just try a clothing brand, and we just did it,’” he explained.
The effort paid off big time. Kiyan and Jadyn poured everything into One Way, turning it into a successful and emerging name in streetwear. They’re not stopping here; plans for a physical store are already in the works. Kiyan even has his sights set on influencers like Lil Baby or Drake to represent the brand and take it to new heights.

Meanwhile, Kiyan’s basketball stardom is rising, too. A four-star shooting guard, he’s committed to Syracuse, following in his father’s footsteps. This April, he’ll compete in the Jordan Brand Classic and the Chipotle Nationals with Long Island Lutheran High School. Off the court, though, One Way Clothing proves he’s more than just a baller — he’s a creator with big dreams.
