Although they are currently in the midst of a title run, Auburn has started shaping their roster for the 2025-26 season.
Auburn is currently in the final four of the 2025 NCAA tournament, where they’ll face Florida for a place in the championship game. They are looking to replace two players, Chaney Johnson and Johnson Broome, next season, and it looks like they’ve secured the services of one of the best forwards in the portal.

Auburn Lands Keyshawn Hall
After entering the transfer portal, Keyshawn Hall received interest from several programs, such as LSU, Mizzou, Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Texas. Hall has now committed to Auburn, as reported by Jon Rothstein.
“I want to be coached by the best coach in the country, and that’s Bruce Pearl.” Hall was quoted by Rothstein.

Auburn will be Hall’s fourth college, having spent time at UNLV and George Mason before joining UCF.
Hall is known for his versatile play and scoring prowess. Securing his services will definitely help improve Auburn’s offense next season. The Tigers’ current roster is filled with seasoned players, including seniors who are poised to leave or turn professionals at the end of the season.
It is important to start preparing for the transition and getting players like Hall is a step in the right direction. Auburn needs to maintain the competitive edge and consistency that has taken them to the final four of this year’s tournament and the addition of Hall is key.
Hall averaged 18.8 points and 7.1 rebounds for UCF this season and is going to inject fresh momentum into Auburn’s forward line. He led the Big 12 in scoring and was named second-team All-Big 12 and to the All-Big 12 Newcomer Team.

Over his three-year college career, Hall averaged 15 points and 6.2 rebounds in 80 games. He will now join freshmen Kaden Magwood, Simon Walker, and Sebastian Williams-Adams as Auburn looks to replicate the success they’ve had this season so far.
