“Shirts or Skins?”: Karl-Anthony Towns Left Shocked With Bizarre Angel Reese-Caitlin Clark Question

Karl-Anthony Towns became the latest guest to appear on Caleb Pressley’s “Sundae Conversation” show. Pressley, known for his humorous interviews with athletes, had KAT almost off the hook throughout their conversation.

He started the show by alluding to a joke about the New York Knicks head coach, Mike Brown, and assistant coach, Maurice Cheeks, as ‘Brown and Cheeks.’ The episode then progressed to another segment called ‘Shirts or Skins,’ which had KAT truly baffled.

For those who are unfamiliar, ‘shirts and skins’ is a common term used in pickup basketball, where one team plays wearing their shirts and the other team doesn’t.

The first question Pressley hit KAT with was to choose between LeBron James and Michael Jordan playing ‘shirts and skins.’ KAT could not answer that. So, Pressley moved on to asking Towns to choose between Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark for ‘shirts and skins.’

Once again, KAT was seemingly baffled. He did not know how to answer this one either. Have a look at his reaction right here (1:43):

Then again, Pressley did not stop with his barrage of bizarre questions for the Knicks’ big man. Mentioning how Towns is a shooter on the court, Pressley brought up two other ‘infamous’ shooters, John Wilkes Booth and Lee Harvey Oswald. Booth and Oswald are known to have assassinated US presidents Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy in 1865 and 1963, respectively.

To sum up the interview, KAT revealed he would rather play ‘skins.’ He said he would team up with host Caleb Pressley and co-host Glenny Balls for such a matchup.

Charles Oakley Believes in Karl-Anthony Towns to Lead the Knicks Into the NBA Finals

Knicks legend Charles Oakley is impressed with how Karl-Anthony Towns has fit in with the team. In fact, the former player made a bold prediction for the 2025-26 season, saying the Knicks would contend for the championship.

As per TMZ, Oakley was present at Melba’s of Harlem’s annual turkey drive, where he was asked if he believes the Knicks are serious contenders with KAT and Mike Brown. To this, Oakley said:

“They should’ve won it last year…yes they can. They just have to play. I think they got sidetracked last year, a lot of things goin’ on. I think last year they blew a big opportunity. I think they could have won it last year, but it’s a new year.”

Oakley is considered a legend at Madison Square Garden and was an anchor for the Knicks during the 1980s and 1990s. He has been one of the most prominent voices in New York basketball and never shies away from giving his opinion on the team and its players.
