Arkansas Razorbacks coach John Calipari is enjoying his time. He recently attended an exciting NFL game, just as the 2025-26 college basketball season is approaching. On Sunday, Oct. 19, Calipari shared on his X/Twitter account that he flew out to Arlington, Texas, to watch the Week 7 matchup between coach Brian Schottenheimer’s Dallas Cowboys and coach Dan Quinn’s Washington Commanders in the former’s home arena, the AT&T Stadium.
In the photo that Calipari uploaded, it seems as though he is joined by several of his close friends to watch the highly anticipated professional football game, featuring Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson. Calipari tagged @RazorFoundation on X/Twitter, a foundation that supports the athletic departments of the University of Arkansas.

Much to the delight of coach Calipari, given that he pledged his allegiance to the Cowboys, Dallas was able to notch their third win of the year with a 22-point triumph, 44-22, against the Commanders. This gives Ferguson and company an overall record of 3-3-1 so far in the 2025 campaign, as their next matchup will be against the Denver Broncos on Sunday, Oct. 26, in away territory, the Empower Field at Mile High.
Meanwhile, Coach Calipari will enter his second stint at the helm of the Razorbacks‘ men’s basketball coaching staff in the 2025-26 season, when it commences next month. He is looking to make a deeper run with this squad, as last season, they made it all the way to the Sweet 16 of the 2025 NCAA tournament. Their postseason run was put to a halt by the Texas Tech Red Raiders through a tight two-point defeat in an overtime thriller, 85-83.
