LeBron James’ historic streak of double-digit points after astounding 1,297 games finally came to an end after the game vs the Raptors. It is quite unbelievable that James had stacked up almost 1,300 games where he had been scoring at least 10 points. The run has finally come to an end, but it was not a sad end.
LeBron gave up an opportunity for a jumper from midrange with Raptors players double-teaming him. Instead, he passed the ball to Rui Hachimura, who buried the 3-pointer, which handed the victory to the Lakers. LeBron had 8 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists.
These numbers surely don’t sound like LeBron’s stats. However, he did have the winning assist. This game was a sign to many that LeBron might be ready to take the second-fiddle role. And Jason Whitlock had some comments on his game, which included an insult to both LeBron James and Angel Reese.
They turned LeBron into Angel Reese. Stat padding and bricklaying. Unreal. pic.twitter.com/nMU1cJR0SQ

“They turned LeBron into Angel Reese. Stat padding and bricklaying. Unreal,” Jason Whitlock took to his X account and reacted to LeBron’s game.
Many have criticised Angel Reese for her rebounding and her game over the years. Jason Whitlock has been criticising Angel Reese with some rather distasteful comments as well. Now he has wrapped up LeBron as well in this. Whitlock accused LeBron of stat padding and bricklaying just like Reese.
Fans React to Jason Whitlock’s LeBron James-Angel Reese Comparison
Fans were divided about Whitlock’s insult of LeBron James.
“That is the proof of what bagless is,” one fan said.
“I would never compare LeBron to Angel. That is like comparing him to Dennis Rodman. Just ridiculous,” another fan commented.
“Stat padding” Literally passed up the shot to extend his streak, to make the right play … and helped his team win the game in doing so (with 11 assists to 0 turnovers to boot). Don’t be the black Skip Bayless,” another replied.
“NBA is so fun to analyze facts from without context. IE LeGED’s record that doesn’t include his playoff 7 game dud in 2014. Both of these guys did this vs. the Raptors. Who did it better?” another stated.
