Hoops Analyst Breaks Down Why Cameron and Cayden Boozer Could Be the Most Successful High School Duo Ever

During an episode of The Goodman and Hummel Basketball Podcast, college basketball analysts Jeff Goodman and Robbie Hummel debated Cameron and Cayden Boozer’s success at the Nike Hoop Summit and why they may go down as the most successful pairing in high school basketball history.

College Basketball Analyst Breaks Down Cam and Cayden Boozers’ Ability and Overall Success

The Boozer twins have built quite a collection of accolades.

Among them are four consecutive high school state titles, McDonald’s All-American honors, two Gold Medalists, EYBL excellence, and commitments to join the Duke Blue Devils during the 2025-26 college season.

They’re also highly rated prospects, with Cameron ranked the No. 3 player in the 2025 class and Cayden ranked No. 24, per 247 Sports.

While discussing the twins, Hummel made a strong statement with their high school achievements in mind.

“They’re as accomplished as probably any high school prospects of all time,” he claimed.

Among those accomplishments—and one of the talking points between Goodman and Hummel—was their performance in the Nike Hoop Summit game, in which they played the USA squad.

Cameron played exceptionally well, scoring 22 points and tying a Nike Hoop Summit record with 16 rebounds. He was one of the main catalysts behind the USA team’s 124-114 victory.

Now, the twins will have their sights set on playing for the Blue Devils, where the bar has been set extremely high.

Along with their father, NBA All-Star Carlos Boozer, who was suiting up for Duke, many highly-recruited players excelled in a Blue Devil uniform. Just this past season, the No. 1 recruit in the 2024 class, Cooper Flagg, had as good of a year as he could’ve. He finished as the AP Player of the Year and led the team in all major statistical categories.

Whether Cameron or Cayden can reach that level is yet to be known, but they’ll surely be in a position to make their mark in Duke history soon enough.
