Jaiden Glover was the star of St. John’s 2024 recruiting class, but he entered the NCAA transfer portal earlier this month after one year. He entered the portal with a “Do not contact” tag. Glover, a 4-star, top-100 recruit from New Jersey, played in 22 games, averaging just 2.2 points while shooting 34.7% from the field.
Glover was ranked as the No. 16 power forward and the No. 55 overall player in the class of 2024, per 247Sports. He has now left St. John’s and committed to a new program.

St. Joe’s managed to weather the transfer portal storm fairly well. Although they lost Xzayvier Brown and Shawn Simmons to the portal, they added Al Amadou, Glover and Deuce Jones. The Hawks are also expected to keep Anthony Finley, Derek Simpson, Dasear Haskins, Justice Ajogbor (who may get a waiver for another season), and others.
St Joe’s did lose some of its best players, but the program added talented players in Glover, Jones, and Amadou. Amadou is an explosive athlete who couldn’t manage to get enough playing time with Marquette.
He appeared in 14 games as a freshman in the 23/24 season, with seven of his eight field goals coming on dunks.
Amadou has three years of eligibility left as he redshirted last season. Jones also has three years of eligibility left. Last season, Jones appeared in all 33 games for La Salle, making 20 starts, averaging 12.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.6 steals per game.
Jones recorded double figures in 20 games during the year and passed the 20-point mark seven times. He dropped a career-high 27 points in the regular season finale on March 8. He was a three-star recruit out of St. Thomas Aquinas.
