In 16.3 minutes per contest, he posted 5.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks. When given extended playing time—at least 25 minutes—he averaged 11.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks, shooting nearly 74%. His top performances included a 19-point, seven-rebound effort in a double-overtime loss to Houston. A McDonald’s All-American, Bidunga ranked No. 18 in the ESPN 100 coming out of high school.

Top 5 Schools That Could Land Flory Bidunga From the Transfer Portal
With Bidunga entering the transfer portal, several top programs will likely pursue the former five-star recruit. The 6-foot-9 center brings elite athleticism, defensive prowess, and efficient scoring, making him a prime target. Here are five potential landing spots for Bidunga.
Auburn Tigers
Auburn was a serious contender during Bidunga’s initial recruitment, and the Tigers could re-emerge as a strong option. Bruce Pearl’s up-tempo system emphasizes interior play, allowing Bidunga to maximize his rebounding and shot-blocking skills. Auburn’s success in developing NBA-level big men, including Walker Kessler, could further appeal to him.
Duke Blue Devils
Duke, another finalist in Bidunga’s original recruitment, is known for molding elite frontcourt players. The Blue Devils’ balanced offensive approach and disciplined defense provide an ideal environment for Bidunga’s development. With a history of producing NBA-ready big men, Duke could help refine his skill set while giving him national exposure.
Michigan Wolverines
Michigan has a strong track record of developing post-players. Bidunga previously expressed interest in the Wolverines, citing a strong relationship with the coaching staff. Michigan’s system prioritizes post-scoring and defensive intensity, aligning with his strengths.
Indiana Hoosiers
The basketball background in Kokomo may make Indiana an appealing destination for Bidunga to return home.

The Hoosiers rank number 10 in Big Ten statistics for opponent field goal percentage in the paint, and they desperately need a stronger defensive presence inside the paint. Matching Bidunga with Malik Reneau would create one of the best frontcourt duos in the Big Ten.
Kentucky Wildcats
Mark Pope’s program is an excellent pathway to the NBA, making Kentucky an enticing destination. The Wildcats’ up-tempo style would showcase Bidunga’s athleticism, while NIL opportunities and national exposure further strengthen Kentucky’s case.
