Cooper Flagg is stepping out in style for the NBA draft, and fans are eagerly predicting where the Duke freshman phenom could be drafted.
The NBA offered the first look at Flagg’s draft day outfit on Wednesday. The top prospect wore black velvet loafers and a black tie with a stylish blue suit. An excerpt from their caption read:
Fans flooded the comments with their reactions to Flagg’s outfit for the big night. The 18-year-old is the consensus No. 1 pick to the Dallas Mavericks, and many expressed their excitement about him joining the organization.

Stephen A. Smith discusses Dallas fit for Cooper Flagg
Stephen A. Smith offered his hot take about how No. 1 NBA prospect Cooper Flagg will fit in with the Dallas Mavericks. Smith opened up about his concerns about the Duke star ending up in Dallas on his show “First Take” on Wednesday.
”Cooper Flagg is no joke, and his versatility really, really comes shining through,” Smith said. “But I’m going to caution everybody … ownership can mess stuff up, and the fact that they let go of Luka [Doncic], remember how people were reacting.”
Smith argued the Mavericks may not have what it takes to develop Flagg’s high-level skillset.
“This brother Cooper Flagg a freshman National Player of the Year, one of only four people in history to do that, it’s coming with big time expectations,” Smith said. “You gotta make sure that y’all don’t mess this up as an organization.”
Flagg will more than likely be drafted by the Dallas Mavericks, but lack of confidence in the organization’s leadership has caused Smith to question if it’s a good fit.
