Duke Blue Devils freshman Cameron Boozer’s girlfriend, Yva Lauren Cao, was recently captured in a new outfit as she continues with her cheerleading career. Lauren Cao took to her Instagram account to repost a story upload by her teammate, @georgia_shayesteh. It shows both of them in matching cheerleader outfits for the Miami Hurricanes at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
Cao and Shayesteh were seen wearing pastel green cropped-top shirts with a graphic design of the Hurricanes, similar black skirts, and white sneakers with the University of Miami logos on them. Cao’s teammate also included a caption that shows that they’ve gotten closer since the start of the 2025 college football season.
“Hermanitaaaa,” Georgia Shayesteh captioned with a white heart emoji.

The photo comes as Lauren Cao continues to churn out her first year as a member of the 2025-26 Miami Hurricanes cheerleading squad. She committed to the team in March of this year, after spending her high school cheerleading stint with the Our Lady of Lourdes Academy in Miami. It is presumed that she was in the same batch as Boozer.
Lauren Cao performed her cheerleading duties well during the recent 35-point beatdown that coach Mario Cristobal’s Hurricanes gave coach Frank Reich’s Stanford Cardinal, 42-7, on Saturday, Oct. 25. Cao’s next opportunity to cheer on the Hurricanes will likely fall on Saturday, Nov. 8, for Week 10 when Miami returns to their home pitch to take on the Syracuse Orange.
