Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green is once again found to be on the giving end of an in-game violent and discriminatory remark. On Saturday, Dec. 20, Green and the rest of coach Steve Kerr’s 2025-26 Warriors team faced coach Jordan Ott’s Phoenix Suns in the former’s home arena, the Chase Center in San Francisco, California.
On Monday, Dec. 22, @courtsidebuzzig uploaded a carousel post on Instagram, showing Green getting into an altercation with Phoenix guard Collin Gillespie. Green was captured shoving Gillespie as he was going down the court, which eventually got him ejected. As he was exiting the game, another video captured him throwing a couple of racial slurs at Gillespie.
“‘WHITE BOY! B*tch! DON’T PULL THAT S***, WHITE BOY!,’ What Draymond Green yelled at Phoenix Suns guard Collin Gillespie after Draymond shoved him & got ejected 👀🗣️ Thoughts? 🤔,” @courtsidebuzzig on Instagram captioned with several emojis.

Fans online expressed their anger towards Green over his comment.
“Every team should have their 12th man on their roster punch Draymond square in the jaw every game until he retires,” one fan commented.

“Suspension hasn’t done anything to him, he hasn’t learned,” another fan pointed out.

“Now imagine it was the other way around,” another user said.

“I don’t condone violence but I’m just waiting on someone to knock Draymond smooooooooth the f*ck out!!!,” a user exclaimed.

Other users in the comments section called for Green to not only be waived by the Warriors franchise but the league due to his behavior.
“How has this dude not been kicked out of the league yet,” one fan questioned.

“😂 Dude is so gone I just have to laugh. If that was the other way around, we’d be talking about being banned from the league,” another user posted with a laughing emoji.

“Don’t know why the Warriors still continue to back Green. Guy also still gets hella ad deals and is clearly not a role model,” a user wrote.

Green and the Warriors defeated Gillespie and the Suns 119-116. Golden State now has a 14-15 record, and is the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference. They will face the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday, Dec. 23.
Draymond Green Once Punched Former Phoenix Suns Center Jusuf Nurkic
Back in the 2023-24 campaign, Draymond Green infamously swung at former Phoenix Suns center and now Utah Jazz stalwart Jusuf Nurkic.
This was caused by the two players getting tangled up, with Green inadvertently punching Nurkic, and the big man eventually fell to the floor. Green was then ejected from the game, and even served a brief suspension.
