College Basketball Prop Bets Today: 5 Spots You Can’t Miss Ahead Of Season Tipoff Ft. Villanova vs. BYU

College basketball finally kicks off on Monday and it will feature some very big opening games. Fans will now get to see No. 1-ranked freshman AJ Dybantsa debut, as well as the college debut of LeBron James’ other son, Bryce. So, which games would be very goof for prop bets?

5 College Basketball Games Good For Prop Bets

    Villanova Wildcats vs. BYU Cougars

The high school basketball class of 2025 is considered one of the most stacked classes in basketball, and the name leading that class is BYU‘s AJ Dybantsa, who is making his college basketball debut against none other than the Villanova Wildcats. Dybantsa is projected to be next year’s No. 1 draft pick in the NBA, so seeing what he could do on the court on opening day might be an indicator of what is to come for basketball’s future.

It should also be noted that this would be the first official game for new Villanova head coach Kevin Willard, who faces a tall task of trying to control BYU’s potential superstar freshman. There are several questions hanging in this matchup, including how well Dybantsa will be working with Richie Saunders.

Lehigh Mountain Hawks vs. Houston Cougars

Houston had one of the best runs last year and fell short of winning a national title. The team has since revamped and added several five-star freshmen to the lineup. It should be interesting how this reinforced Houston lineup would fare, especially their new additions.

    Arizona Wildcats vs. Florida Gators

Florida is a constant basketball powerhouse, but in storylines, the Gators may be taking the back seat, as this game will introduce not just much-hyped freshman power forward Koa Peat, but also Bryce James, LeBron’s other son. While only a three-star recruit, it should be interesting to see how he would fare in this matchup, especially against a strong team like Florida.

    Mercer Bears vs. Tennessee Volunteers

The Vols are coming into the new basketball season with some big additions, such as Maryland transfer Ja’Kobi Gillespie. This will also be the college basketball debut of another hyped-up freshman in Nate Ament, another possible NBA prospect.

Kansas Jayhawks vs. Green Bay Phoenix

Kansas will be loaded with a lot of guards this season, and they will be put to the test against Green Bay. One player to look out for will be guard Darryn Peterson, who despite being ranked No. 2 in many rankings behind AJ Dybantsa, actually owned him during their senior year and was undefeated against his rival, eventually taking the No. 1 spot by the end of the school year.
