The Los Angeles Clippers, like every other franchise will join in the 2025 NBA draft hustle and they have a first round pick this year, their first in two years. In trading for Kawhi Leonard and Paul George who has since joined the Philadelphia 76ers, Clippers leveraged their future, especially most of it’s draft picks.
The Clippers don’t need to make major roster decisions this offseason with some of its future capital still in OKC’s hands. But it should be able to at least add a young prospect for the future or an experienced college player that’ll make an instant impact on the team.

National Championship Winning Big man Could Be Heading to LA.
Alex Condon, a 20 year-old Australian, is projected to be a late first round pick. Condon was on Florida’s national championship winning team. He earned All-SEC honors as he led the Gators in rebounds per game (7.5) and blocked shots (49) while averaging 10.3 points per game. During his first season at Florida, he made the SEC All-Freshman team while averaging 7.7 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.
CSN’s mock draft has Condon heading to the Los Angeles Clippers with the 30th pick in the first round.
“One of the Gators’ stars during their championship run, Condon stands 6’11” but is extremely versatile. Defensively, he moves his feet well and can space the floor on offense while handling the ball surprisingly well for his height. He’s a long-term play here, as he could fit in next to Clippers center Ivica Zubac.”
Condon is an absolute menace when he gets near the rim, whether that is scoring or setting up a teammate for a score. He can also switch from offense to defense very easily. He is very strategic and won’t foul unless it is absolutely necessary. Condon saw his draft stocks rise while anchoring Florida’s defense on their way to the national title.

As for the clippers, their backcourt is currently stacked with James Harden, Norman Powell, Ben Simmons, and a resurgent Kevin Dunn but the frontcourt is where depth and quality is needed to support Kawhi Leonard and Zubac. This is why the opportunity to select Condon should be exciting for the clippers front office.
