The ex-wife of NBA legend and 2003 national champion Carmelo Anthony recently showed up to their son’s most recent regular-season game to support him in a chic way. On Tuesday, Jan. 6, Kiyan Anthony, the son of Carmelo and La La Anthony, and the rest of coach Adrian Autry’s 2025-26 Syracuse Orange faced off against coach Damon Stoudamire’s Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in the McCamish Pavilion in Atlanta, Georgia.
La La Anthony then took it upon herself to upload a video to her Instagram stories on Wednesday, Jan. 7, of how exactly she is supporting her son in the aforementioned game as she was in attendance to do so. Using the song, “SYRACUSE ORANGE” by Young Twin Stylez, La La Anthony is seen dancing and pulling up her navy blue hoodie that has a huge Syracuse logo in the front to show her school pride in support of Kiyan Anthony.
La La Anthony then finished off her look with a pair of light-washed denim jeans and all-white Nike Air Force Ones. Along with her in the clip is actually, presumably, Kiyan Anthony’s grandmother, as this can be inferred from her hoodie stating, “‘Cuse Grandma,” in the same color scheme as that of La La Anthony’s. While the two are doing the same pose, La La Anthony then included a three-word caption to hype the post up further.

Fortunately for La La Anthony and the rest of the Orangemen faithful, Kiyan Anthony and his teammates were able to defeat the Yellow Jackets by 10 points, 82-72. This gives Syracuse its 10th win of the year, and first ACC victory of the 2025-26 season, as they now hold a record of 10-5 (1-1 ACC). Kiyan Anthony and Co. now look to bring this winning momentum into their next game against the Pittsburgh Panthers on Saturday, Jan. 10.

Along with La La Anthony and Kiyan Anthony’s grandmother showing out with their support towards the young talent and his team, La La Anthony also shared to her Instagram stories that their whole family actually came out to support Kiyan Anthony in his game. Despite it being far away from the Orangemen’s home floor, several of their family members attended the game while wearing Kiyan Anthony’s jersey.
