Adidas is taking a bold step forward with its growing NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) program by signing some of the nation’s top high school basketball stars. As part of this push, eight standout athletes have joined Adidas’ Class of 2025 NIL roster, each bringing elite talent and strong potential to the brand.
This strategy shows that Adidas is investing in future basketball stars early, aiming to build long-term relationships before these athletes even reach college. Leading the new class is Caleb Holt, a 6’5” shooting guard from Georgia whose high school NIL valuation has already reached $1.3 million—more than many current college-level stars.

Caleb Holt, Along With Seven Top Recruits, Signs NIL Deal With Adidas
Caleb Holt leads the way in Adidas’ newest NIL class, joined by a talented group of young stars. This list includes Tay Kinney, Anthony Thompson, Oliviyah Edwards, Kate Harpring, and Bruce Branch II—each bringing something special.
Holt’s NIL value has reached an impressive $1.3 million, according to On3, making him one of the country’s most marketable high school athletes. He now ranks No. 10 in the high school basketball NIL rankings and holds the No. 82 spot in the On3 NIL 100. That’s not all—Holt also stands out as the highest-rated prospect in the group.
But he isn’t the only star. Each athlete in this group ranks among the best in their class, bringing elite talent and strong potential to Adidas’ basketball roster. On Wednesday, Adidas announced this exciting 2025 high school NIL class on social media. It features recruits from both the 2026 and 2027 classes.
The Loganville (GA) Grayson standout ranks No. 5 overall in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking. This position explains why he’s seen as the leader of this new group of signees. Female basketball standouts like Oliviyah Edwards and Kate Harpring are also part of this elite class, bringing depth and diversity to the roster.

However, you’re not alone in thinking that NIL deals were initially meant for college athletes after the NCAA rule change in July 2021. However, in recent years, high school athletes have also started benefiting from NIL opportunities, depending on state laws and regulations.
Big brands like Adidas, Nike, and Puma have taken advantage of the shifting rules, securing top recruits early to build future rosters. Players like Caleb Holt now have seven-figure NIL valuations before even stepping onto a college court.
As of now, none of the eight Adidas NIL signees have officially committed to a college. However, some of them have received heavy attention from major powerhouse programs, and this deal with Adidas will further enhance their value in their respective recruiting class.
