He mentioned the resilient aspect of the SEC schedule, where teams risk physical and mental depletion on Saturdays. In contrast, he said that Big Ten powerhouses such as Ohio State face less challenging opponents during the regular season.
“Ohio State has a couple of big games in the Big Ten… But, you know, I don’t know the strength of the football conference. It’s not like the SEC,” Pearl stated.
