The son of four-time NBA champion LeBron James and current Los Angeles Lakers guard Bronny James had a heartfelt greeting for his girlfriend’s special day. On Tuesday, Sept. 2, James’ girlfriend in Parker Whitfield is celebrating her 21st birthday as she is reeling in special wishes from her close ones, including the 20-year-old James who will also turn 21 later this October of 2025.
With this, James took it to his Instagram story to share a photo of him and Whitfield during the celebration, in which they were candidly captured to be smiling beside each other on a table as Whitfield just blew out her birthday candles. The first son of LeBron James also included a five-word heartfelt greeting for Whitfield that shows his love and support of her milestone.

James, much to the delight of Whitfield and his fans and spectators, will be uncorking his second year in the NBA later this October as well. He and his father, LeBron, famously became the first ever father-son duo to be in an active roster together in NBA history during the recently-concluded 2024-25 season. They finished with an overall record of 50-32, and were the third seed in the West heading into last year’s playoffs.

The former USC Trojans guard in Bronny James also commented on Parker Whitfield’s Instagram carousel post of her birthday with a cute five-word message. Whitfield recently posted snaps from her intimate birthday celebration on the same day, which shows moments with friends and family, her birthday cake, her posing in her summer-inspired outfit and as well as the drinks that were served.

“Love you berry much baby,” James commented with Whitfield responding with, “Love you so so berry much!.”
With the support of Whitfield and the rest of the Lakers faithful, Bronny James will enter the upcoming 2025-26 season looking to snag more minutes in an extended role for the coach JJ Reddick’s team. They are also looking to avenge their first-round exit in the 2025 NBA Playoffs by the Minnesota Timberwolves, who they lost to 4-1.
