Sebastian Wilkins just made a dream come full circle. Blue Devils fandom is just for their next big name. The 6-foot-8 forward with bounce and a serious upside is officially joining the Blue Devils.
Wilkins joins the Blue Devils’ stacked 2025 class after reclassifying from 2026. He is ranked No. 47 overall by 247Sports and brings with him size and skill. And he is just the missing piece in the Jon Scheyer puzzle.

Sebastian Wilkins Is Built for The Jon Scheyer Squad
Wilkins is that guy. He has a 6’8″, 215 lbs frame. And when it comes to the game, he has 16.4 points and 6.1 rebounds on the 3SSB circuit. Wilkins also comes with incredible shot creation and athleticism. But more than numbers, Wilkins brings fit.

With Cam Boozer and Dame Sarr on the Jon Scheyer Squad wreaking havoc on the wing, Wilkins is the in-between menace. Wilkins can shoot the three, muscle up in the paint, and switch across multiple positions. His versatility is Scheyer’s love language.
To add on, Wilkins has a 6-10 wingspan, and it’s clear why Duke went all in after his high school season ended. Wilkins, of course, had options. Maryland made a push, and 11 other schools also made offers.
But when a person grows up dreaming of Duke, there is no changing the mind. If that wasn’t enough, Wilkins’ mom even took him to Duke campus when he was six years old, and since then, the dream began writing itself.
As Wilkins puts it in an interview with ESPN, “Duke has always been my dream school. I remember seeing Zion Williamson play against Tacko Fall in the NCAA tournament, and that’s when I knew Duke was for me….This is a full-circle moment.”
And now, Wilkins is stepping into a class led by the Boozer twins, Nik Khamenia, and Sarr. It is the No. 1 recruiting class in the country for a reason. This move, however, is not simply about adding talent. But also about complementing it.
While Cooper Flagg and Kon Kneuppel head out, Wilkins brings something Duke was missing last season—the power and versatility combo. Wilkins, after all, can stretch the floor, drive hard, and defend across the board. Anyone who has seen him play would agree.
Brewster Academy coach Jason Smith has even called him a “multidimensional player, a great competitor, and team-first to the core.” Wilkins may not have the same headline heat as some of his new teammates, but that makes this dangerous.

Wilkins is the sleeper pick that’s already wide awake. With Boozer bringing the inside punch and Wilkins adding finesse, defence, and grit on both ends, the Duke squad has some insane depth.
And both Cam and Cayden Boozer seemed to be excited about the new member of their Blue Devils squad. On the announcement post from Wilkins, the brother went on to comment. “😈😈😈,” said Cayden.”😈.” commented Cameron.
Now, coming to, will all this talent click? Well, let’s forget that Cheyenne doesn’t just recruit stars. He builds systems. And no doubt, he will be able to do it with Wilkins.
