After dominating high school, the Boozer Twins, Cayden and Cameron Boozer, are finally about to step into college together as part of the Duke Blue Devils. On Friday, they finally stepped into adulthood as they celebrated their 18th birthday, and they got special greetings from each of their parents, CeCe and Carlos Boozer, who are now divorced.

Duke Blue Devils legend and former NBA All-Star Carlos Boozer took to Instagram to pen a heartfelt birthday greeting to his two youngest sons, both of whom are following in his legacy at Durham:

Their mom, CeCe, who has been very supportive of them throughout their basketball careers, took to her Instagram Stories to wish her boys a happy 18th birthday.

“Happy 18th Birthday to my Twin Towers,” CeCe wrote.

Even after their divorce, Carlos and CeCe are common sights to see in Christopher Columbus High School games, cheering on Cayden and Cameron Boozer’s team, the Explorers. They were also there when the twins won the Chipotle Nationals title, as well as their sons’ graduation from high school.

Cameron Boozer Named the Gatorade Male Player of the Year at the ESPYs

Before he and his brother came of legal age, however, Cameron Boozer was at another high, as the incoming Duke freshman was just named the Gatorade Best Male Player of the Year at the ESPYs earlier this week. He now joins an elite group which have won the award, including fellow Duke basketball stars Jayson Tatum and Cooper Flagg.

His selection came after a stellar year with the Explorers, leading the team to not just a fourth-straight state championship, but also to the Chipotle National title. He was also named the Gatorade National Player of the Year (boys) and was a Jordan Brand and McDonald’s All-American. Earlier last year, he and Cayden also led the Nightrydas Elite to their third straight Nike EYBL title, making him a champion at the school and AAU levels.

The one who won the female version of the award at the ESPYs was Cross Country and Track & Field star Jane Hedengren, who has committed to BYU.
