Kansas and UConn are set up for a blockbuster clash scheduled in just a few hours. Bill Self and Dan Hurley’s teams must be looking forward to their only 5th clash. In the 4 previous encounters, Kansas has been victorious in all of them. UConn’s 4 losses have spanned over 30 years.
This will be Dan Hurley’s second game against Bill Self and Kansas. The two teams matched up last in the 2023-24 season. Kansas won the game 69-67 vs UConn in a home game on December 1, 2023. Dan Hurley and UConn would be fired up to take revenge and extend their winning streak to 3. Huskies would also have a good chance because of the bad news that has hit Kansas’ faithful.

Bill Self recently provided an update on injured Darryn Peterson.
“Darryn is not going to play tonight. He is very close. He has worked his butt off, but he is still not 100 percent. He is day-to-day,” coach Self said about Darryn Peterson’s availability for crucial clash vs Dan Hurley’s UConn Huskies.
Peterson will now miss his straight 7th game for Kansas this season. He has been dealing with hamstring issues. He has played only 2 games so far. Peterson sat out a loss to Duke at Madison Square Garden in New York and three games last week at the Players Era Festival in Las Vegas.
