Bam Adebayo Represents GF A’ja Wilson on Court With Sweet Gesture

Everybody knows that Bam Adebayo and A’ja Wilson are one of the hottest power couples of the hoops world. They met sometime around 2023 when Adebayo attended one of Wilson’s WNBA games. The couple made their relationship public during the 2024 Summer Olympics, when they hung out together while representing Team USA Basketball. Now, Adebayo has found the most adorable way to show love to his beau, even if it’s on the court.

On Wednesday, the Miami Heat faced the Golden State Warriors at home, defeating the Dubs 110-96. One of the most interesting things to note here was how Bam Adebayo was rocking A’ja Wilson’s signature shoes on the floor. As reported by Overtime on their Instagram page, Adebayo was seen wearing the ‘Black Label’ Nike A’One’s, which just shows another way he supports his girlfriend.

A’ja Wilson is one of the few WNBA athletes to have her own line of Nike signature shoes. She signed with Nike as a rookie in 2018 and soon became a signature athlete by early 2024. Her continued partnership with Nike led to her designing the signature shoe line and the eventual release of the A’One sneaker line in 2025. She is on a six-year extension deal with Nike, which is also one of the most lucrative shoe deals in the WNBA.

Wearing A’ja Wilson’s shoes, Adebayo went off to guarantee a win for his team. He added 20 points, seven rebounds, and two blocks in the game, while shooting 7-of-13 from the field and 3-of-4 from beyond the arc. Thanks to this win, the Heat improved their record to 9-6 in the season while the Warriors fell to 9-8.

Adebayo is averaging 19.9 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 2.9 assists this season. On the other hand, his beau A’ja Wilson collected her fourth MVP award, second Finals MVP trophy, and was crowned WNBA champion for the third time at the end of this year’s WNBA season.

A’ja Wilson Was In Tears After Bam Adebayo Presented Her With MVP trophy

The 2025 WNBA season was another year to cherish for the Las Vegas Aces’ A’ja Wilson. Wilson won her fourth MVP trophy, her second Finals MVP trophy, her third DPOY, and her third championship last season. She also emerged as the WNBA blocks leader, scoring champion, and Peak Performer in 2025.

After garnering all these accolades within a single season, a pleasant surprise moved Wilson, as Bam Adebayo pulled to honor her achievements.

In a video posted by the WNBA’s X handle, A’ja Wilson was seen in tears after Bam Adebayo handed her the MVP trophy. The post was captioned, “FOUR. EVER. THE. ONE,” which truly encapsulates how Wilson is probably the most dominant player of current times in the WNBA. Speaking of the moment ahead of Game 1 against the Indiana Fever, Wilson said:

““It’s not going to hit me until the end of the season, honestly; it is truly a blessing to be where I am. I don’t think I could ever put into words how special this moment is. My name is in the history books forever.”
