The first game that immediately jumps out is a reunion of sorts as the Tigers head to Doak Campbell Stadium to take on former head coach Mike Norvell and the Florida State Seminoles. Famously left out of the College Football Playoffs despite winning the ACC and finishing 13-0 in 2023, the ‘Noles could be on a revenge tour next fall. All friendly notions are thrown out when revenge against the NCAA is on the line.
The Tigers also face defending Sun Belt Champion Troy in 2024, but they’ve just recently lost head coach Jon Sumrall and could take the proverbial step back next year.

Memphis’ AAC schedule includes some tough contests, most notably trips to UTSA and Tulane as part of their four-game road schedule. The Tigers also travel to Navy and USF to round out the away portion.
Venturing to Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium are UAB, Charlotte, Rice, and North Texas, all games that should present winnable contests for the Tigers in 2024. Will they capitalize on what appears to be a winnable nine games and surprise in any of the others remains to be seen, but this program is built to contend with a tough schedule like this one.
