It is always interesting to see coaches and members of the media go at one another for whatever reason.
It appears that NFL Draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. is upset that Miami head coach Mario Cristobal didn’t talk to him about former Hurricanes and current Titans quarterback Cam Ward.
Mel Kiper Says Mario Cristobal Ignored Him on Cam Ward, Deion Sanders Backs the ESPN Draft Expert
A series of recent social media posts from insider Brett McMurphy, Kiper, and even Colorado head coach Deion Sanders give football fans a glimpse into the situation surrounding Kiper and Cristobal.
According to McMurphy, Cristobal spoke “to a million people” about Ward, but Kiper wasn’t one of them. Of course, Kiper was criticized somewhat for ranting about Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders on draft night while Ward was selected with the first overall pick.

Kiper fired back at the report from McMurphy, saying:
“(I) had Ward ranked higher than any of the other draft experts…I didn’t speak to Deion about Shedeur either.”
Then, Sanders responded to what Kiper had to say, saying:
“I love you man! You stood on the desk with great balance 10 toes down and said what u doggone said & didn’t flinch.”
It is safe to say that Sanders is a fan of Kiper standing up for himself after people were not high on him ranting about Sanders, but not Ward.
Cam Ward Looks to Help Titans
After a tremendous college career, Cam Ward is hoping to usher in a new era in the Music City. The former ACC Player of the Year threw for over 18,000 yards in five collegiate seasons and nearly 160 touchdowns.
He is as talented as they come, and the Titans have a chance to greatly benefit from his presence in the huddle. It will be interesting to see if he can have a Jayden Daniels-like effect on the Titans, who are desperately looking for consistency at the quarterback position.
