Kentucky CB Hairston’s NIL Deals Point To Potential Pro Earnings
Kentucky CB Maxwell Hairston signed two deals in 2024, the first with The 15 Club, a brand created in 2021 to connect boosters and fans with Kentucky athletes.
He signed his second contract with the Hilton Lexington Downtown Hotel in June. The amounts of both have been undisclosed, but according to College Net Worth, the guess is that his deals were worth $411,000.
The West Bloomfield, Michigan, native was part of a Wildcats team that didn’t fare too well last year in the SEC, finishing with a record of 4-8. But the 5”11, 183-pound defensive player stood out on the Wildcats thanks to his explosive playmaking, leading him to cover a lot of ground thanks to his speed.
He ranked third on the team in 2023 with 68 tackles, six pass breakups, and five interceptions, including one returned for a 29-yard touchdown and another for a 54-yard touchdown.
Hairston’s performance at the NFL Combine ranked him among the best prospects, as he ran a 4.28 in the 40, turned in a 1.50 10-yard split, and a 39.5-inch vertical. He was ranked 7th among all cornerbacks in the upcoming draft.
