UNC quarterback Max Johnson will be the center of attention in the 2025 college football season, but for now, he’s busy enjoying his relationship with his girlfriend Adrienne.
The couple is in Oak Island, North Carolina. On Sunday, Adrienne posted a romantic snap as they were snapped against the backdrop of soft sunset light. Adrienne was beaming in a yellow top and white skirt while Johnson was dressed in a casual tee and shorts.

The couple reportedly met during Johnson’s junior year at UNC through mutual friends. They have been dating since 2023 and went Instagram official in Jan. 2024. Johnson and Adrienne share occasional snapshots like summer trips, game day moments and celebrations on social media.
Johnson missed most of the 2024 football season due to a broken femur. Adrienne emerged as a key pillar of support during his rehab journey. As for the update regarding his availability for the 2025 season, Tar Heels head coach Bill Belichick said:
“Max is doing very well. His rehab has been long and I have a lot of admiration for him. It’s a tough injury, but nobody’s worked harder than he has, and he certainly is able to do a lot more than he was last spring.
“So, we’ll see exactly where he is when things start, but it’s a whole lot closer, and we certainly expect to see him out there. So, it’s been very encouraging.”
Max Johnson’s Girlfriend Adrienne Wows At CMA Fest
Adrienne Davis stopped by the Nashville CMA Fest in early June. Before going there, she turned to Instagram and posted clips of her outfit transitions for the event.
“CMA fest!!!!” and “Thank you for having us Nashville,” she wrote.

During the offseason, Adrienne was captured learning golf from Max Johnson at a scenic summer course.
“Your stance is right, your thoughts are right, the most important thing is going out there and thinking you’re going to hit it good,” Johnson said in the video.
