ICYMI: UNC QB Max Johnson’s GF Adrienne Davis Shares Heartwarming Anniversary Post With Special Message

UNC Tar Heels quarterback Max Johnson featured in a special post on Instagram as his girlfriend, Adrienne Davis, celebrated their two-year anniversary via her Instagram story.

Davis shared a picture of the couple during some of their cheerful memories together. In the image, Adrienne was twirling mid-air in a bright yellow shirt and white skirt with Johnson smiling, holding her hand. The picture also included a short, sweet caption that read, “2 YEARS WITH YOU !!!” which expressed Davis’s delight and love on Instagram.

Meanwhile, Johnson has recently taken the field once again, after being back in the lime light at Tar Heels after taking over a starting job on October 4 instead of  Gio Lopez due to an injury during a hard loss against Clemson.

The game was a return to feet for Johnson after a terrible break of the femur and multiple surgeries and months of rehab that took away most of the last season, showing amazing toughness.

Tar Heels Struggle Under Bill Belichick’s Early Tenure

On the field, Johnson and the Tar Heels face challenges. The team has struggled under the new and often-acclaimed head coach Bill Belichick, and they have a 2-3 record. The team’s offense has struggled to score a number of points as they were outscored 120-33 in three defeats.

The program is also dealing with distractions outside of the games. Rumors about Belichick looking for a buyout surfaced after a loss, but the rumors are unfounded. The team deal with NCAA investigations.

In spite of the challenges for the Tar Heels, Johnson statistics against the Tigers say otherwise as he was 26 for 42 passing for 213 yards, not turning over the ball throughout the game.
