The race for the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year is always fierce, but few rookies are as bold as Luther Burden III when it comes to staking their claim. Recently, the NFL posted a poll on Instagram asking fans to pick their early favorite for the award. The poll featured four names, but Luther’s name wasn’t one of them.
Luther didn’t let that bother him. Instead of focusing on the poll, he dropped a bold one-word response in the comments section. He simply told everyone to forget the poll and keep their eyes on him because he plans to be the Offensive Rookie of the Year.

In a recent Instagram poll posted by the NFL, fans were asked to predict their early pick for the Offensive Rookie of the Year this season. However, Burden, who wasn’t included in the poll, made his presence felt with a bold comment: “MHM.”

Each player in the poll is talented. Travis Hunter is a rare two-way star with the Jaguars. McMillan brings size and skill to the Panthers’ offense. Cam Ward, the No. 1 overall pick, is set to lead the Titans. Jeanty’s speed and power make him a great fit for the Raiders’ backfield.
But Burden, the Bears’ second-round pick, is no one to ignore. He turned heads in college at Missouri with 61 catches, 676 yards, and six touchdowns. He’s known for his explosive speed, big-play ability, and confidence under pressure.
So when the NFL left him off the poll, Burden made sure fans remembered his name. His comment quickly shot to the top, with fans on social media loving his confident mindset.
One fan wrote, “Love the confidence.” Another said, “I’m actually so excited to watch this guy.” Someone else commented, “This is the confidence I want in my WR.”
