It is College Game Day once again, and Nick Saban is in Georgia as part of the ESPN panel for the Georgia vs. Ole Miss matchup at Sanford Stadium. Ahead of the broadcast, his daughter, Kristen, captured a heartwarming moment between him and his wife, Miss Terry, as she helps him get ready for the show by fixing up his tie.
Miss Terry has been very supportive of Saban and has always been seen by his side when he was still the Alabama head coach. She has continued her support of him even aftern his retirement from coaching. Now that he is a respected TV analyst for ESPN, she has continued supporting from the sidelines.
Pat McAfee will be hosting the show alongside Saban and several others, and country music superstar Jelly Roll will also be part of the program as the celebrity guest picker. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 PM CST from Athens, Georgia on ABC. The former LSU and Alabama coach has been a regular sight for “College Game Day” and is often present wherever the show is being filmed from.
His career as a TV analyst began with the “Pat McAfee Show” where he regularly appeared to talk about college football games during the 2024 season. A year later, he became a part of “College Game Day,” and he would also contribute to ESPN’s other football-related content such as the NFL Draft and the SEC Medua Days. There have been rumors that he might be planning to return to coaching, but he has since shot those rumors down himself.

More Rumors Of Nick Saban Coming Out Of Retirement As Penn State Searches For a New Coach
Saban appeared on the “The Pat McAfee Show” on Friday and one of the things he talked about was Penn State’s vacant head coaching position. He commented that the school’s athletic department is specifically looking for somebody who has a proven record of success.
“Obviously, they’ve got to hire somebody that has a history of having some success — someone who knows how to develop a program, continue to win, and deal with success,” he said.
This sparked rumors that he might be interested in the coaching job and may be thinking of coming out of retirement. The rumors pointed to Nick Saban basically describing himself as what Penn State is looking for.
However, it should still be noted that these are just rumors as fans were just taking what he said as the basis of him possibly returning to coaching, even if there is no other evidence of it.
