EA is back with its next iteration of the college football franchise with College Football 26. Although the game is not released to the general public until Thursday, players who purchased the Deluxe Edition or MVP Bundle gained access to the game on Monday. As a result, players have been able to explore some of the various tricks in the game.
Players have quickly learned that one of the most effective tools in the game is the lob pass. When used effectively, receivers catch these passes at a high rate. However, there are some users who have had difficulty learning how to throw a lob pass.

Fortunately for players, once they learn how to make the pass, it is not difficult to replicate. To make a lob pass, all the player needs to do is lightly tap the button above their desired receiver. A light tap of the button will result in the quarterback throwing a lob pass. However, getting a feel for this can be challenging because if you press the button too hard, it will throw a different pass.
Players who continue to struggle with lob passes can switch their passing settings. The classic passing style can make it easier for some players to get lob passes to register.
Other Exciting Tricks in College Football 26 To Win Games
When new players get access to College Football 26, one of the best things they can do is to start experimenting with various plays in different playbooks. There are some plays that players have already discovered are overpowered. One option is Penn State’s Gun Gate Fake Jet Verts. This play utilizes two linemen lining up next to a receiver on the short side of the field.
This often allows players on the long side of the field to be open as defenders are drawn to the short side. Alternatively, the lineman with the short side receiver gives them enough space that the player can usually pick up short yardage if nothing else is available.
If you are looking for a chaotic play, you should consider Ole Miss’s Wildcat Deuce Wing Blast. This play has a defensive sub to put one of your defensive tackles at QB. In this formation, the defensive tackle almost never falls backwards, and as a result, it is a great play for picking up short yardage.
