The Liberty Flames are hoping to rekindle the spark of the 2023 season. Can they return to national prominence despite a tough schedule in 2024?

The Liberty Flames weathered the offseason storm and kept their roster relatively in check. Most importantly, they held on to their leading man: Jamey Chadwell.

What a season it was for the Flames in 2023 and what a year it looks like it could be in 2024. The Flames kick things off with a winnable slate of games through September and carry that on through the entirety of the season despite some tough midweek opponents in October.

Liberty takes on ECU and App State in September as part of their non-conference schedule, with arguably their toughest game on paper this offseason being their matchup against the Mountaineers.

The Flames host FIU and Jacksonville State and travel to Kennesaw State during the midweek portion of their schedule. A non-conference game against UMass presents a warm-up challenge for an anticipated matchup against Western Kentucky in late November.

The 20th annual Conference USA Championship Game will feature the top two finishers in conference play and is set to be played on Friday, December 6. CBS Sports Network will broadcast the CUSA Championship Game.
