The Nebraska Cornhuskers and Utah Utes are set to square off on New Year’s Eve in the 2025 Las Vegas Bowl, marking the first meeting between the two programs since 1992. Utah enters the matchup with a 10–2 record, while Nebraska, meanwhile, arrives in Las Vegas with a 7–5 record.
The Cornhuskers hold an even 27–27 all-time record in bowl games and own a 4–0 advantage in the all-time series against Utah.

Let’s take a look at all the opt-outs and injury-ridden players that will not feature in the Las Vegas Bowl slated to take place at Allegiant Stadium tonight.
