Lane Kiffin’s Alleged Lie Exposed as Ole Miss Star Roasts LSU Boss Publicly

Brycen Sanders of the Ole Miss Rebels has called out his former coach, Lane Kiffin. On Sunday, Nov. 30, Kiffin uploaded an emotional and lengthy formal announcement on his X/Twitter account, confirming his move to become the coach for the LSU Tigers and departing from the Rebels.

On Tuesday, Dec. 2, Ole Miss offensive lineman Sanders responded to Kiffin’s letter, which allegedly has false narratives. Sanders took to his X/Twitter to repost Kiffin’s upload, along with a caption that quotes one of the coach’s sentences.

The sentence that Sanders claims to be false is when Kiffin said that Ole Miss director of athletics Keith Carter disallowed him from finishing out the 2025 college football season with the Rebels. The tenured tactician then claimed that each one of his players and staff wanted him to continue with the current campaign, though Sanders was quick to disagree with this.

“‘Despite the team asking me to keep coaching’. I think everyone that was in that room would disagree,” Sanders wrote.

Whether Sanders is telling the truth that he and his teammates did not want Kiffin to continue calling the shots for them remains to be seen. The Chattanooga, Tennessee, native continues with his sophomore year of college football with the Rebels. Kiffin will be joining a Tigers team that recently concluded the year with an overall record of 7-5 (3-5 SEC) and as the No. 10 seed in the SEC.

Brycen Sanders And The Ole Miss Rebels Were Left By Lane Kiffin While Being The Top Seed In The SEC

Perhaps the reasoning behind Brycen Sanders and other Ole Miss Rebels players calling out Lane Kiffin for his departure from their team is the fact that the 2025 Rebels finished the regular season as the No. 1 overall seed in the SEC with an 11-1 overall record (7-1).

They will now prepare for the college football playoffs with defensive coordinator Pete Golding acting as interim coach, while the program hunts for its new head coach.
