One of the funniest facts about SEC football over the last season is that Lane Kiffin’s daughter has been dating one of the stars of one of Ole Miss’ divisional rivals. Landry Kiffin has been in a relationship with LSU’s Whit Weeks since September 2025. Any incongruency ended in December of last year, when Lane Kiffin became the Tigers’ new head coach.
Now, both Landry and Whit Weeks can enjoy their relationship without any weird reaction from the fans. And that’s what they seem to be doing. In her most recent Instagram post, Landry shared a few pictures from their trip to the Bahamas, where they celebrated Weeks’s birthday on Jan. 7. In the caption, she wrote:
“🇧🇸 to celebrate @whit.weeks,”
Weeks reacted to the post by writing the following caption:
“Swag.”

The LSU Tigers linebacker turned 21 years old on Wednesday.

Lane Kiffin Lambasted by Jimbo Fisher for Pulling Ole Miss Coaches Ahead of the Fiesta Bowl
Speaking of another rivalry, the animosity between former Texas A&M coach Jimbo Fisher and Lane Kiffin is famous. Now the former is taking a jab at the latter for not allowing some of the assistant coaches who followed him from Oxford to Baton Rouge to coach at the Fiesta Bowl this Thursday.
Speaking this week on the ACC Network, Fisher said this of the situation:
“He thought his dysfunction of leaving would cause them the dysfunction. No, it united them. And those coaches went back because they love the kids and they did it and now he’s pulling them back. When you made that decision back then to say they can coach, they should coach all the way through.”
Reports have surfaced that offensive coordinator Charlie Weis Jr. and running backs coach Kevin Smith remained with Ole Miss for the Fiesta Bowl of their own volition. Still, wide receivers coach George McDonald and tight ends coach Joe Cox were forced to work exclusively for LSU starting this week.
