For weeks, whispers circled around college football about LSU linebacker Whit Weeks and Landry Kiffin, the daughter of Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin. Videos and sightings hinted at a connection, and chatter on social media fueled the speculations.
Both have grown up in the spotlight. Weeks is one of LSU’s rising defensive players, making his mark early in the SEC. Landry, meanwhile, has been a familiar face in football circles thanks to her father’s long coaching career.
The pairing naturally drew attention, even before either of them confirmed anything. However, Landry made it official by sharing a photo with Weeks on Instagram, leaving little doubt about their relationship.
The timing could not be more striking, coming just days before a major SEC matchup between the LSU Tigers and Ole Miss. In the photo, the two look relaxed and close. Landry sits on Weeks’ lap, dressed in a sleek black outfit paired with boots.
Landry shared four pictures in her Instagram post. In the other three pictures, she can be seen posing with her friends.
“happy :)” She captioned the post.

Landry leans into him comfortably, while Weeks, wearing a cap backwards and a casual black shirt, smiles with his arm wrapped around her. Behind them, LSU colors and memorabilia set the scene, making the connection even more fitting.
The LSU linebacker reposted the picture on his Instagram story, putting an end to all the rumors and speculations from all angles. Landry Kiffin and Whit Weeks now join the list of high-profile couples in the college sports world.

Their relationship, officially out in the open, will draw plenty of eyes both on and off the field as the season continues.

Whit Weeks is Earning His Stripes with LSU
Whit Weeks has been one of the most closely watched defenders on LSU’s roster this season. After a breakout 2024, where he led the team in tackles and became one of the SEC’s most productive linebackers, expectations were sky-high heading into 2025.
He returned to the field ready to prove himself again. That momentum was interrupted during LSU’s game against Florida when Weeks was ejected in the first quarter for targeting. The call came on the Gators’ opening drive after a helmet-to-helmet hit on receiver Vernell Brown III.
Officials reviewed the play and confirmed the penalty, ending Weeks’ night early. The loss was significant for LSU’s defense, forcing quick adjustments and leaving one of their most dependable playmakers sidelined.
LSU ended up winning the game comfortably and extended their unbeaten run. After four weeks, they are one of the few unbeaten teams in college football this season.
