Lane Kiffin is known for his offbeat social media posts from time to time. Sometimes, he would be trolling the Tennessee Vols; other times, he would post with his daughter, Landry, who is dating Tigers LB Whit Weeks, to troll LSU before their game.
Hugh Freeze was seemingly the latest victim of the Ole Miss head coach’s playfulness as he posted a photo on Monday of the car, showing the current temperature of the place, with the caption, “Freeze warning.”

This jab comes amid Hugh Freeze’s sudden firing from Auburn as they sit on an overall record of 4-6 in the 2025 college football season.
Kiffin’s joke sparked various kinds of reactions from fans on X.
“Sooo obsessed with Auburn! Why don’t you just go ahead and make a proposal to Auburn for what you want and see if you can work out a deal. The Auburn family will welcome you with open arms and forgive the trolling, and you’ll have a better chance to win championships,” one fan took a shot at Lane Kiffin.
“DOES THIS MEAN KIFFIN IS GOING TO AUBURN???!!!!!!!!!!,” another fan added.
“Hugh is no longer troll-worthy. Don’t kick a man when he is already down. You are better than that,” another fan advised Kiffin to not troll Freeze.
“We get it Lane it’s cold and now you have a shriveled ……. You are ate up with AU but you are supposed to be mature. That’s why so many people were happy you aren’t here,” another fan wrote.
“Come on lane. Freeze just lost his job and has never said anything negative towards you or your family. It’s been all love and now he is jobless and has cancer and you are taking digs at him? That’s pretty low. Says a lot about ur character,” another fan commented.
“Maybe he brings Freeze in as an analyst and begins his own rehab system,” another fan added.

Hugh Freeze’s Daughters Pay Tribute To Ex Auburn HC’s Tenure
Hugh Freeze has three daughters, named Madison, Jordan and Ragan Freeze, and they never shy away from cheering on their dad through his good and bad times.
Ragan, who consistently made her appearances during Auburn’s game days, took Instagram to share her thoughts about Hugh’s passion for the game upon his firing.
She wrote that there will never be enough words to express the life her dad gave them through the profession of being a head coach.
Ragan further wrote that Hugh gave Auburn his absolute all, which includes laying down his pride, comfort, control and even his health.
“He’s without a doubt left it better than he’s found it and I will forever be grateful for the way he’s led and loved through it all. It has been my greatest honor to stand beside him and I will always believe in him. He was made for this. I’m more proud of him than I’ve ever been. Having done all to stand, he truly stood some more,” she wrote.
Hugh Freeze is now owed $15.8 million in buyout money by the Auburn Tigers upon his firing.
