Ole Miss Rebels’ football head coach Lane Kiffin recently shared a new picture on his Instagram story showing Kiffin sitting on what appeared to be a private plane. He was seen posing with a black t-shirt over a white long-sleeve an interesting message for his daughters.
The shirt with bold white letters read as follows:
“AWESOME LIKE MY DAUGHTER”
Kiffin, with an estimated $14 million net worth, flashed a peace sign as he gave a public shoutout to his two daughters Landry and Presley Kiffin.
His oldest daughter Landry Kiffin, is 20 years old and is currently a student at the University of Mississippi right in Oxford with her father. Landry is also often seen supporting the Rebels and her dad online.
Kiffin’s youngest daughter is Presley is 19 and is a volleyball player committed to USC.
The family bond extends beyond just his daughters. Kiffin’s ex-wife, Layla, and his son, Knox, are also based in Oxford.
He has also spoken about his personal growth in recent years as he attributes this to finding balance and sobriety.
His daughters have been a major part of that journey and have publicly supported him through important milestones including his multi-year sobriety anniversary.
Coaching Vacancies Spark Speculation Around Kiffin’s Future Amidst LSU’s Reported Offer
Ole Miss are currently having an eventful 2025 season as the Kiffin-coached squad is currently 8-1. Over the course of the season the hotly contested rankings have this team among the top 10 in the country with their only loss of the season coming against Georgia.
This team just defeated South Carolina and is now in the conversation for College Football Playoff and this success has only added to speculation around Kiffin’s next move.
Major coaching vacancies in the SEC have fueled rumors with schools like Auburn, LSU, and Florida being mentioned. LSU reportedly also offered Kiffin a $14 million contract, a significant jump from his existing $9 million contract at Ole Miss. Fans still called it low considering LSU’s job profile but this comes after Louisiana governor Jeff Landry wants a merit based contract which is not extravagant after Brian Kelly’s massive $54 million buy out.
However, Lane Kiffin has directly addressed these rumors having dismissed the idea that he might leave Ole Miss.
Kiffin has emphasized his satisfaction in Oxford and has stated his commitment to the Rebels for the long term.
Reports indicate he has an extension offer from the university which further bolsters his stance in the program’s playoff push.
